In partnership with she does data., Mirai Talent is proud to share that Cohort 2 of she mentors is now officially live.

Following the success of Cohort 1, and an overwhelming response to Cohort 2, our latest cohort has now been matched and is underway, with new mentoring connections forming across the community. Applications for Cohort 2 are now closed, but Cohort 3 is coming soon. Stay tuned.

why she mentors?

We know the power of role models, when you see someone like you in an aspirational role, you’re more likely to believe it’s possible for yourself. Yet, in data, many still struggle to find those role models. This exclusive program is designed to change that by connecting female leaders in the industry with the next generation of talent.

Whether you’re seeking guidance from experienced professionals or ready to offer your expertise, this is your opportunity to be part of a movement that champions diversity, equity, and inclusion while shaping the future of women in data.

how it works?
Mentor commitment: Share your knowledge and experience by dedicating time to guide and inspire mentees. Mentee opportunity: Gain valuable insights, network with industry leaders, and get support as you build your career in data.
who should apply?
Mentors: Senior or experienced professionals who identify as female, or transfemale, in data, ready to share their knowledge. Mentees: Identify as a female or transfemale, starting out or looking to break into data roles, eager to learn and grow, as well as those levelling up.
what’s the process?
  • Application & matching: We’ll carefully match mentors and mentees based on expertise and goals.
  • Kickoff session: Join us for a remote joint kickoff to outline the process and set objectives.
  • Mentor introduction: You’ll be introduced to your mentor or mentee to start your journey.
  • Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly check-ins: Over six months, you’ll connect via a 30-60 minute video call
  • Final session: At the end of the program, we’ll come together to share experiences and key learnings.

After Cohort 1, we brought the mentorship programme to life with a special end-of-cohort lunch, giving mentors and mentees a chance to meet in person, share stories, and reflect on their journeys.

With Cohort 2 now underway, we’re already looking ahead to bringing everyone together again!
